Grammy-winning composer, producer, arranger and guitarist Nile Rodgers has been announced as a BBC Music Day ambassador, and will attend the finale of BBC Music Day at the Eden Project in Cornwall, June 3.

BBC Music and the Eden Project have also announced that Izzy Bizu will join the line-up of Duran Duran live at Eden with BBC Music Day, alongside Laura Mvula. James Stirling, Editor at BBC Music, commented 'Nile Rodgers knows a thing or two about music. For over five decades, his songs have made an incalculable amount of people happy. It is our absolute honour and pleasure to have him as our main ambassador for BBC Music Day 2016'.
